Laura Steenhuis

Laura obtained her PhD at the University of Groningen, based on her research into social predictors of psychotic symptoms in adolescents. She has also worked as a lecturer across different subject areas within the Dutch and English Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in psychology at the University of Groningen. She is presently conducting a research study within the ADHD and overactive behaviour consortium, also known as Psychosocial ADHD INTerventions (PAINT). Her research focuses on the effects of psychosocial ADHD interventions on parenting styles and children’s internalising behaviour. And also on the factors that can influence the treatment outcome. With this knowledge, we hope to improve the practice of care for children with ADHD.
