Biography
Marieke Spijk-de Jonge trained as a sociologist, specialising in medical sociology. After graduating, she worked as a doctoral candidate at IQ Healthcare, a department within the Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen. She conducted research there into the enhancement of patient-focused care for people with rheumatoid arthritis.
She has enjoyed working at the Accare Child Study Centre since 2016. Among other projects, she is working on ‘Youth care at the GP practice’ and ‘Learning across integrated care services’, while active within the crisis & emergency care knowledge area.
