Biography
Hyun Ruisch currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Child Study Center of Accare. In addition, he also works for the company Drug Target ID in Nijmegen. Hyun went to Medical School at the University of Groningen, and after he graduated he worked as a medical doctor and PhD-researcher at different places including Accare and the UMC Groningen. During his PhD, Hyun was involved in the EU MATRICS-consortium (https://www.matrics-project.eu/), aimed at investigating biological mechanisms related to aggression and behavioral disorders. The research Hyun is working on involves genetics, gene-environment interplay and brain correlates related to psychiatric disorders.
